| Internships
in the Printing Technologies program allow students to work and learn on the
job. Interns work full time paid positions for 1 semester. Internship students
are paid employees who learn on the job and receive college credit for the experience.
An internship in industry is available to any full time Printing Technologies
student who is currently enrolled and meets the qualifications shown on the course
syllabi. Students need to be at least two thirds done with their diploma. The
recommendation of the Printing Technologies faculty is also required. Students
set up their own internships with guidance from the Printing faculty. Many interns
are hired as full time employees after completing their internships. |
